Shoe mogul Steve Madden was released from prison today after serving a 41-month sentence for securities fraud and money laundering. After living with them for years, I still don't understand women's fascination with shoes (which is fair since most women don't understand men's fascination with the Three Stooges.) Justine is thrilled that Charleston now has a Steve Madden store. As a Sex in the City fan I know that Madden's aren't Manolo's but they're the best Justine can afford right now.

Omni Magazine once had an article that said the synapses between the left and right side of the brain varied widely between men and women. Maybe women have a shoe circuit whereas men have a Stooge circuit.
