On the grocery shelves today: pluots from Chile, melons from Guatemala and Honduras, cherries from Chile, blackberries and raspberries from Mexico, blueberries from Chile, grapes from Chile and Peru, asparagus from Peru, Campari tomatoes from Canada.

I do make a conscious decision to try to eat in season and I do compromise to region, thankful that Florida isn't that far away.

I can't handle just eating locally; I know Ashley tries, but even she goes crazy over fruit and veggies from far away.
