Justine was playing around with Google Street View when she came across a photo herself crossing King St. That's her in the Getting Lucky in Kentucky t-shirt.
Yes, she was in Australia almost all of 2008 but the photo is easily dated to sometime last fall. Granny's Goodies down the street is still Granny's Goodies (and not boarded over prior to becoming the Apple Store) and in the other direction a theater marquee advertises tickets for a concert by Russian pianist Jan Rautio at Sottile Theater on November 13, 2007.
Actually, a friend of mine just wanted to show me the blurry faces of the people and picked King Street because we were on the way to the Apple Store. He had no idea he was telling me to look at myself!
Of ALL the pictures on Google Maps... They replaced the one of my car at California Dreaming. And I imagine they'll update this one soon enough.

That's pretty dang cool. (And I have that t-shirt, too.)

Alison has that same t-shirt.

I would not show my husband this since he already thinks we're all being spied on. It would really feed his paranoia.

If you move down the street 1 'click' (to the right, facing Justine), then look back down the street.... you can actually see her crossing in the middle of the block. Is that not illegal there?
Conversely, if you go 1 click to the left and look the other way, you see her waiting for the car ahead of the Googlemobile to go by.

That must have freaked you out! What a coincidence. They don't have my street done yet.
