You never want to see this parked in front of your house...

Three Charleston police officers were patrolling the area.  Evidently I look too nice to be a looter.  They all said "Hi" and walked on.

This is some of the damage at the townhouses that I photographed yesterday from my side of the lake.  A photographer from the paper was more willing than I was to wade through the water to take a better photo from the bridge near the far end of the lake.

It looks better today, at least from the lake side.  My house is just behind the round mound of trees to the right.
