The water level finally started dropping after high tide peaked around 6 AM. So far it's gone down about 6 inches.

The 15th fairway is slowing reappearing. It was completely covered by 10 last night.

Everyone who has lived on the street since Hugo in '89 agrees that this is the worst flooding in this part of Shadowmoss since then. Of course, we were lucky. There have been reports of waist-deep water in spots all the way from Downtown to Summerville and from West of the Ashley to East of the Cooper.

I was half asleep when Jason told me there was water up to the back porch. When I woke up later, I thought I'd dreamed it after seeing the flash flood warnings last night. Nope. The water is about ten feet back from the porch now.
