Not much happening. That's good.
As of the 5 PM update Hanna's predicted track has shifted back toward the SC/NC border. Still a tropical storm and likely to remain one.
The shift may explain why not much is happening here. Heavy rain at times, then no rain. Remarkably little wind which is what you worry about most unless you live downtown.
In downtown the usual suspects are flooded. Expect more to flood before the night is over. That's what happens when you build a city near sea-level. High tide in the harbor isn't until 12:46 AM.
Ms. Hilda has taken to her bed and isn't answering the door, but she is answering the phone. She still says she's feeling fine. I told her that I'd check on her one more time before it gets too late to phone. She has my number on speed dial if she needs me.
I rarely cook these days even if the sun is shining. Would you expect me to cook today? Pizza from South of Philly on Bees Ferry. Pepperoni, sausage, onions, red peppers, yellow peppers, green peppers, black olives, and mushrooms.

That almost makes me hungry. I haven't had much of an appetite the past couple of days.

LittleMike, are you on your way here...like in 2004? Mike, I just ordered from Dominoes...not much going on here yet, just a couple of rain bands through so far. I hope my sailboat does not float off the pilings. We have a high tide plus about 5 feet expected. That will put the boat above the bulkhead!! Pizza is here...keep your head down and stay away from the windows.
