Only slightly jealous...

Teresa, even a bit more jealous...

Wow, Byron Bay seems just my sort of place. Thanks for the snaps, Mike. I can tell you had a lovely time!

Sharon

Love the pictures - beautiful!

Margaret

Your descriptions and photos reinforce how much I would love to visit. Now if only someone could pay my way or make the trip shorter. (Beam me down under, Scotty!) It sounds like an adventure, and I love those.

Must be a franchise - there's one of those "latex device" shops in Victoria BC.

Right now (luckily) it's only me, Brooke, and Joel living in the house. Brooke keeps to herself, we NEVER see her, and Joel and I have been hanging out every day! We're going to form an alliance against rotten roommates next semester when 2 more people will no doubt move in. I told Joel, I'm 2 for 2 getting roommates to move out... =)

Carrie

Glorious photos!

Justine cracks me up. I could have used her roommate moving skills when I was in college.

How splendid these can be! This really reminds me to visit AU one of these days. I've been a big follower of rugby games here in Colorado, and I wanna see some more action, like matches between AU and NZ. And top it off with a beach trip. Ooh, when's my time gonna be?

Mike

Savannah, I went back to Australia a year later. This time a one-week trip to Sydney for the International Food Festival. There is still much that I need to see.

Savannah Adams

Nice! International Food Festival. So how was it? Good thing that you were able to spend a full week there. Perchance, were you able to drop by the Sydney Opera House?

As of this moment, my husband and I have been making some specific plans, like where to stay and places to see. And of course, the rugby games.

Mike

I stayed at the Sydney Harbour Marriott at Circular Quay. My room was on one of the uppermost floors and the view from my room looked directly down on the harbour, the Opera House, the ferry terminal, and I could see part of the Harbour Bridge. Magical.

The food festival was amazing. Great "festival special" meals at lots of restaurants and the Night Noodle Markets in Hyde Park.

When I wasn't eating I was exploring the city. Great public transport made that easy.
