I just got a call from the Fred Thompson campaign. The young man said, "Fred wants to know what you think is important in South Carolina". I said, "Tell Fred I'm voting for Rudy".
Actually at this point I have no idea which candidate, if any, I'll vote for but that was more fun than hanging up. Hey, it's still raining and I'm bored.
What I find funny is that I'm hope ALL the time, except for the odd doctor appointment. At exactly those rare times when I am out, that's when the candidates show up to talk with me. They leave their flyers in my mailbox and a note saying "Sorry I missed you". I was glad to miss the PC and NDP candidates. But the Liberal guy I would have liked to meet.
Seems to me, if they honestly want to know what people think, they ought to be door knocking on weekends or after working hours. They do this daytime thing on purpose.

that should read "i'm HOME" not "i'm hope"
jeez. Mind is willing but the fingers aren't having it.

Fred Thompson is an enigma to me. Is he really running for President?

Why didn't you say Ron Paul?
Without going into details, I met two of the Puget Sound's leading conservative bloggers last summer. Ron Paul's name made them want to chew nails.
