I've lost my best friend and loyal UK football buddy. She fought as hard as she could but the cancer eventually won.

My heart goes out to you, Mike. I lost my mother in September and, as hard as that was and is, I can't begin to imagine the pain of losing my sister. Rest in peace, Jo Ann.

Oh Mike. I knew it was coming but so hard to fit in my head since I've always seen such smiling, happy pictures of her. You have my deepest sympathy.

I am terribly sorry for the loss of Jo Ann;she did fight hard, not just the cancer, but to live and die the way she wanted. And I admire that.

I am so deeply sorry! I did not think it would be this soon.
I love this picture of her, too.
It definitely shows her spirit.
My sympathies to the entire family.
She is with your parents and Paul now and is happy to be where she is.

The worst thing cancer does it that it makes you say, "Gee I wish you could have known her." There's an ongoing grief in that sentence that you never get over.
Please know that the three of us are thinking of you and sending out good thoughts.
Deus tu conversus vivificabus nos
Et plebs tua laetabitur in te
