I'm not sure if this is the reason Charleston is enveloped in smoke but on my flight back home Tuesday evening I saw a fire smoldering in the woods in Berkeley County.

For Greenville, it was Wednesday morning. The smoke and awful smell were from the wildfires in Florida and South Georgia. It's happened one other time that I can remember but those fires were in North Carolina.
