I just got carded! I was in the mood for steamed mussels tonight so I went to the grocery to get a bottle of white wine to steam them in, and the clerk asked to see my driver's license.
As good as that may have made me feel, I have to burst my own bubble. I shop at this particular store almost every day and know every clerk. The one who carded me is very new and no doubt management had read her the riot act about checking the IDs of people buying alcoholic beverages. She just took it a bit too seriously. I stopped looking like I was under-21 two years ago. :-)
Nahhhh.
Obviously, you, like me,haven't aged a day since you were 19.(Despite having kids.)
