It Beats Pacing the Floor
Since I don't quite know what to do with myself while I wait for youngest daughter to safely return home, I think I'll spend today, this weekend, and probably Monday, too, catching up on what blog friends have been writing.
I agree with Joanie. The last few Friday Fives have sucked. But this one is good so I'll post my answers later. In the meantime, enjoy hers. She likes to travel as much as I do.
I agree with Robert about what should happen to PETA if their financial support of ELF is proved. (Via Heather.) Where is the Patriot Act when you need it?
Broad at Bat is conducting Women Suck Week over at her place. Too many links, so start here and scroll up. As always, Lileks-quality writing (or should I say Lileks has Broad-quality writing?) and very, very funny.
Dawn tells us more than we need to know, but at least this time she didn't show photos (I'd link to the belly photo but Dawn wisely hid it). Actually, I'm glad pregnancy has its positive side, since it looks and sounds so damned uncomfortable.
I agree with Andrea. I hate site statmeters, too. If a blog's sitemeter keeps me from reading the blog, I'm much less likely to go back and try again.
It's shameless self-linking day over at Michele's. She has way more readers than I have so go promote yourselves.
The Divine Teresa is sporting a great new look. While you are there, will you please try to talk her out of blogging about co-workers? And read her Friday Five, too.
I'll take a break now and do my Friday Five. I'll catch up with the rest of my blog friends later.
Tell your daughter I said to get her ass home and stop worrying her adorable daddy.
